LE MANGE BAL
Move into the blow out universe of Le Mange Bal, where the most vibrant musical traditions of Brittany, Occitania, and Auvergne come to life in a fascinating sonic fusion. Imagine a world where traditional folk dances blend with electro music, creating a never heard before sound. Ancestral melodies take on a new dimension over a throbbing bass and percussive rhythms, propelling audiences into a whirlwind of good sensations. Born from the overflowing imagination of Theodore Lefeuvre, producer and accordionist, and performed alongside Loïc Vergnaux, clarinetist, Le Mange Bal is much more than just a concert: it’s a call to trance. An invitation to discover new approaches to music and dance.
Theodore Lafeuvre: Akkordeon, Keyboard
Loïc Vergnaux: Klarinette, Saxophone, Flöte
DUO CLERCX
Duo Clercx was founded in the summer of 2022 by the Clercx brothers. With an arsenal of instruments, they play their self-written repertoire. They are not only musicians, but also dancers and therefore know exactly what dancers need. They play folk with sensual mazurkas, spicy magic circles, hearty bourrées ... With their enthusiasm and their rich background in different folk styles, they immediately make you want to dance!
Gert-Jan Clercx: Violine, Pfeifen, Bratch, Dudelsack
Hendrik Clercx: Diatonisches Akkordeon, Geige
BALLSY SWING
Formed in the ruins of an ancient mirror factory in the Rhône region, this group carries within it a story worthy of a traditional tale, an ode to the tragic youth of musicians who had nothing to live on but a few pizzas marinated in jasmine tea. In this maze of dark cellars, three promising members were raised in cages, listening intensively to Bach, Jean-Michel Jarretelle and other obscure repertoires of Auvergne bourrées. And during their childhood, they were often seen being dragged, in chains, to the most unlikely dance floors, fed only on courgette wings and muskrat mousseline, with the aim of turning them into the future greats of the musette hip hop industry with socially conscious lyrics. Taking advantage of a moonless night, they managed to escape, taking refuge for a while in a strip club, before concluding their epic journey on the dance floors of folk balls. And so today, Colin Delzant (cello), Valère Passeri (violin) and Lucas Thebaut (diatonic accordions) are proud to present the fruit of this incredible journey: music that will make you dance, shout, maybe even take off to the sound of this swing... which has come a long way!
Colin Delzant: Violonchello
Valère Passeri: Violine
Lucas Thebaut: Diatonisches Akkordeon

The four young artists share a close friendship that is reflected in their music, which is as lively and epic as it is rhythmic and warm-hearted. With their arrangements and original compositions, the Cosmos Chocolat quartet roams through various repertoires and invites you to a ball where you won't want to stop dancing.

LUCAS THEBAUT SOLO
An instrument accompanied by collective movement, the solo accordion ball returns dance music to its most essential expression. Melodies chosen for their intrinsic grooves and the clarity of their beats; light, playful accompaniments; lively, engaging dances. There's no need to overdo it here. The only common threads are the cadence and the pleasure of your feet!
Lucas Thebaut: Accordéons diatoniques
DUO NEUS
Mara and Torge played together for the first time in spring 2024 and it was immediately clear that they couldn't stop there. In a very short time, they wrote a lot of tunes and now have a varied concert programme to offer for a full evening of balfolk. Their pieces are all new and written by themselves. Duo Neus plays for dancing as well as for listening -in any case they play with a lot of fire!

Melf Torge Nonn: Klarinette, Sopran Sax, Traverso Flute, Tin Whistle, Diat. Akkordeon
AURÉLIEN CLARANBAUX SOLO
Self-taught since 1997, Aurélien Claranbaux oscillates between repertoire, compositions and improvisation, a trio that he mixes with ease. His influences come from different areas, such as dance music from central France or Brittany, but also from jazz, rock, rap, world music, etc. He knows how to keep the groove of traditional music in the background. In his solo project, Aurélien puts his musical versatility at the service of your feet and ears. Let yourself be carried away by this unique journey that will take you into this atypical world for a few hours, twenty pieces and fifteen dances. Between melody, rhythm, improvisation and nuances, let yourself be led to the sound of a surprising accordionist who is always in search of new sensations.
Aurélien Claranbaux: Akkordeon

SARAÏ
Sarai. ‘I will’ in Occitan-Provencal is an ode to all possibilities. In the poetic continuity of the concert repertoire, this format is an invitation to dance. A tasty mix of compositions inspired by Gascon, Provencal and folk ballroom dances. Using the same lyrics and with the valuable support of Chantier à Correns, the Saraï Ball takes up these poetic narratives with a more immersive approach, combining words and dance in a warm atmosphere.
Juliette Minvielle: Gesang und Percussion
Sophie Cavez: diatonisches Akkordeon
